Christian Life I Christian Life I Announcements   Christian LIfe I Tuesday Afternoon Christian Life I Schedule 3.00: Playground & Snack 3.45: 1st & 2nd Grade: Godly Play; 3rd Grade: Choir I 4.30: 1st & 2nd Grade: Choir I; 3rd Grade: Godly Play 5.15: Dismissal After-School Programs Permission Form 2010-2011 Children in the 1-3 grades are invited to join the Christian Life I group which meets on Tuesday afternoons at 3.00 in conjunction with Children's Choir I. In addition to our regular Tuesday meetings, activities are planned for the children throughout the year including summer mission projects and a family Los Posadas Advent event. In the spring of each year, we hold a retreat for children in 3rd-5th grades at Camp Willow Run. In recent years, a new method of religious education was introduced in our Christian Life I & II programs called Godly Play. Godly Play offers a creative, child-honoring way of entering into and experiencing the biblical story. In Godly Play, we play with the language of God and God's People: our sacred stories, parables, liturgical actions and silence. Through this powerful language, through our wondering, through the community of players gathered together, we hear the deepest invitation of all: an invitation to come play with God.
